Dorcas Miller -- Queens Cup W75

Lee Delfausse -- Althea Gibson Cup W70

Judy Smith --Doris Hart Cup W80

The sites for the tournaments vary year to year; since 2000, they have been held in Austria, Croatia, Turkey, Australia, New Zealand, USA and South Africa.

The Super Seniors events include the age groups 65-80 for both women and men.  These teams then play similar teams from many other countries sponsored by the International Tennis Foundation (ITF).   It is a big honor to be selected to one of these teams to compete against world competition.  Last year, the Althea Gibson Cup (W70) had teams from 15 countries, the Queens Cup (W75) had teams from nine countries, and the Doris Hart Cup (W80) had teams from eight countries.

Each team has a minimum of two and maximum of four players.  Team matches consist of two singles and one doubles.  Depending on the number of teams entered, there are different numbers of flights that play round robin with the winners of the flights then playing each other to determine the winner and finalist.

Good luck gals and we will all be cheering for you!
